This policy explains what information Kick-Up Blocks ("the game", "we", "us") collects, why, and what choices you have. The game is published by Red Pharos ("the publisher"), who is responsible for your information. Questions: support@redpharos.com.
1. The short version

- Your progress (scores, medals, kit, settings) is stored on your device.
- If you use the online leaderboards, we store a player ID, the name you choose (or your Game Center / Google Play Games name) and your scores, so other players can see your rank.
- We do not show ads, we do not sell your information, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

2. Information stored only on your device
The game saves this on your phone so you can carry on where you left off:
- game progress: best scores, level reached, perfect kicks, your best 5 games, game of the day streak;
- medals and the shop items you own or wear (kit, look, ball, stadium, weather);
- the player name you type in the shop;
- settings (music, sound, haptics).
This information does not leave your device unless you use the online features below. Deleting the game deletes it.
3. Information used for the online leaderboards
When the game connects to the online leaderboards (all-time and weekly rankings), it uses our leaderboard provider, LootLocker, to store:
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| A random player ID created by the game (a "guest" account) | To keep your scores together without an account or password |
| Your display name: the name you set in the shop, or your Apple Game Center or Google Play Games name if you sign in with them, or "PLAYER" and four characters of your ID | To show your position on the leaderboards |
| Your scores (kick-ups and level reached) and when they were sent | To rank players |
| The game version and basic technical data needed to connect (such as your device's IP address, used by the provider to deliver the service) | To run and secure the service |
Visible to other players: your display name, your scores and your rank.
Names: names are checked against a list of offensive words before they are used. Please do not use your real full name or any personal information as your player name. We may hide or change names that are offensive.
4. Apple Game Center and Google Play Games
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), the game may use that sign-in to identify you to the leaderboards, so your scores follow you to a new device, and may show your Game Center / Play Games name on the leaderboards. Apple and Google handle that sign-in under their own privacy policies:
- Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy
We do not receive your Apple ID or Google account password or email address.
5. Purchases
Medal packs are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your payment details. We only receive confirmation of what was bought, to add the medals to your game.
6. Sharing a picture
The SHARE button creates a picture of your result on your device and opens your phone's share options. Nothing is sent to us; what happens next depends on the app you choose to share with.
7. Why we may use your information (legal bases)
- To provide the game and its online leaderboards that you choose to use (performance of our agreement with you).
- To keep the service secure, prevent cheating and moderate names (our legitimate interests).
- To meet legal obligations, if any apply.
8. How long we keep it
- On your device: until you delete the game or its data.
- Online leaderboard data: while your player account is active, and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to delete it, or after 24 months without playing online. Weekly rankings are reset every week.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the UK and EU under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. To delete your online leaderboard data or make any request, contact support@redpharos.com and include your player code (shown at the bottom of the game's Settings screen; tap it to copy).
10. Children
Kick-Up Blocks is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the online leaderboards, contact us at support@redpharos.com with the player code shown in the game, and we will delete their information.
11. Where information is stored
LootLocker stores leaderboard data on servers located in the European Economic Area (EEA). If information is transferred outside the UK/EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).
12. Security
We use the security measures provided by our leaderboard provider, including encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the game. The date at the top shows the latest version.
